Get out and enjoy the summer weather, while having a Picnic on the Pond!
Leave the packed lunch at home and purchase food from one of the food trucks while enjoying live music on the Green.
What better way to spend a lunch break than good food, good music, a good location, and better company?!
Picnic on the Pond is a three-date outdoor event designed to bring the community together through local vendors, arts, food, and interactive programming.
Hosted in partnership with the London Arts Council (LAC), the series will highlight local artists and musicians while activating the park space with engaging activities and a vibrant market atmosphere.
Activities
July 18 - Salsa Dancing
Kick off the summer with our opening afternoon on the green. Browse handmade goods and local products, grab a bite from our food trucks, and let loose with free salsa dancing lessons — no experience needed.
A perfect way to meet your neighbours and celebrate the season.

August 22 - Roller Skating
The market returns for a late-summer afternoon packed with local flavour. Shop from artisan vendors, enjoy live music from London-area musicians, and lace up for free roller skating.
Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a first-timer, the rink is open to all.

Close out the series with our final gathering of the season!
The Village Green comes alive one last time with local vendors, food, and the community energy that made the summer so special.

To help create a smooth and consistent market experience, vendors are asked to bring their own tents, tables, and chairs.
